Journal Club of the Austin Medical Students - JAMS

Studies have shown that journal club is an excellent way of improving reading habits and improving critical appraisal skills as clinicians.

We will try to have a senior clinician present at each session. Last year, students found this to be very useful.

The club will involve students meeting once per fortnight. You will have the choice of presenting solo or in pairs. Everyone will be given the research paper to be reviewed 1 week in advance so that we are all ready for the session.
