Myotherapists treat the cause as well as the symptoms of a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Some examples are neck and back pain, headaches, chronic overuse injuries, general tightness and sports injuries.
The techniques and modalities that can be used include soft tissue manipulation, dry needling, myofascial cupping, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, passive/active stretching, corrective exercise, hot/cold therapies and rock taping.
I am registered with the Institute of registered Myotherapists of Australia (IRMA) and most major health fund rebates can be claimed.
