Jemma Sue Daly Fundraiser - Golf Day

The Jemma Sue Daly Golf Day is played on Good Friday annually at the Newry Golf Course, and concludes with a charity auction and dinner.

The Jemma Sue Daly Golf Day is an initiative of Mat & Amy Daly in memory of their daughter Jemma Sue who passed away on 23/3/05. Jemma Sue was born 13 weeks early and flown to Melbourne were she bravely fought for life for 8 days before unfortunately passing away a lifetime to early.

Over the past eight years the event has raised over $70,000 for charities including the Maternity Ward at the Central Gippsland Health Services and the Mercy Hospital for Women Neonatal department, St Marys Primary School Maffra and the Sale Specialist School. The Jemma Sue Golf Day has grown over the past eight years from 25 entries now to over 180 entries of local and supportive people.
