Repair & Service

While testing all items that are classified as a “FAIL” , electrically can be repaired. No Test fee applies to failed items that are to be repaired.

The following repairs are usually completed within 24 hours of completing the Testing :

· Replace power cord on an appliance.

· Repair the power cord on an appliance where the damaged part of the cord can be removed & the cord reconnected to the appliance.

· Replace Plug and / or sockets on extension cables.


Repairs that make take longer :

· Repair the appliance where manufacture’s parts are required.
This can be delayed by more than a week where the replacement spare part is not in stock in Perth.

· Replace RCD in RCD extension / power cords.
Only high quality RCD replacements are used.


In the general test area

A schedule of all items tested & repaired is supplied at the end of each complete appliance test & tag.

Test & Tag on site or at Base. Convenient times are usually available to suit cutomers.
