MY PERSONAL WHY
Hi all would love to introduce myself I'm Janet and I'm looking forward to collaborating together in this journey of using multi media to tell our stories and encourage others in our areas of expertise.
Having migrated from England at 8 years of age (turning 60 soon) and watching my parents struggle and argue over finance or the lack of it has birthed in me a passion to create wealth. I had second hand uniforms and my parents had no choice but to live in government provided housing.
Money does make a difference. To the uneducated it is an education and a future, to the starving, it is a meal; to the missionary, it is the next journey; to the saver, it is security. To the child in poverty, it says, "I can free you"; to the person with nowhere to live, it says "I can house you".
I now want to be part of the answer not the problem and be an asset not a liability.
Having been in full time ministry for 30 years now and done a lot of missionary work overseas and here in our local church and community I see great need everywhere.
