A hope filled place. Located in Orange NSW our students experience a community that looks to the future with hope. Our time at James Sheahan gives us the skills and confidence to challenge ourselves and those around us to be the people that God dreams us to be. As John Baptist De La Salle, one of our patrons, said, 'Be assured that the more you devote yourself to prayer, the more you will also do well in your work.' James Sheahan Catholic High School is a learning community inspired by the traditions of our founders Catherine McAuley and John Baptist De La Salle. We provide opportunities for excellence, growth and success in a caring environment. Valuing compassion, courage and hope, our students will be prepared for a changing world. Our motto - Semper Paratus meaning 'always prepared' is symbolic of hope, the prophetic virtue.

The intent of this page is to provide a hub for responsible community engagement that celebrates the daily life of our school. We proactively support participation in social media to develop digital citizenship throughout our community.

James Sheahan Catholic High School values the responsible use of social media articulated in a range of policies and guidelines that govern the expectations of online behaviour. We reserve the right to remove any content that we believe is in breach of these policies, guidelines and the values of our school.

James Sheahan Catholic High School will remove content if it contains:

Offensive abusive, obscene, profane, hateful or racist content, links or images

Comments that threaten or defame any person or organisation

The direct, full name or descriptive reference to an individual, irrespective of the post’s tone

Solicitations and advertisements by other organisations organisations

Multiple or repetitive posts by a single user

Repetitive posts copied and pasted or duplicated by single or multiple users

Anything else that the school deems inappropriate and does not align with our values, standards, policies and guidelines.
