I’m Nardia and I’m a stay-at-home wife and mum to one gorgeous husband and three scrummy kids. I started Jacobs Gemz because my youngest was having teething troubles and I found making him necklaces helped me get in touch with my creative side. I began making the Baltic amber and semi-precious stone necklaces to help my mother-in-law with her health issues; and my daughter with her night terrors. In fact my daughters night terrors stopped within 2 weeks of her wearing her Amber 24/7.
Jacobs Gemz specialises in Baltic amber teething necklaces. I also make amber bracelets and necklaces for adults and children.
All jewellery is hand-made in Gippsland by me. Each bead is individually knotted—meaning that if a necklace was to ever break, only one or two beads are lost. This is much safer for babies and children. Another safety feature is that the necklaces are made at varying lengths to prevent the child from mouthing or chewing.
I custom-make my necklaces to the length, colour and design of your choice. This is not a business for me but more of a self funding hobby allowing me to make necklace for me and my kids and maybe buy them the occasional treat. Let me know if I can help you out with something special xx
