Ivy Off Trees

At $40 an hour per person (fully insured), we offer general gardening service, including weeding, planting, laying mulch, special projects and ongoing maintenance.

Between us we have lots of experience with native plants and exotic gardens, a botany degree, a permaculture design course and 12 years of professional weed control experience.

Killing English ivy that has climbed a tree helps to prevent the spread of this weed through the Dandenongs. It is good for the tree to have it killed, and it is good for our parks as ivy only produces seed once it has climbed a tree. On the ground it stays relatively dormant.

We are a two person team available at $80 per hour. We charge for one hour’s work minimum and pro rata thereafter.
