Why hello there and welcome!

My name’s Ellen and I am a Melbourne based wedding photographer who has been lucky enough to be photographing weddings for 9 years. I’m young and quirky and can make anyone laugh. I don’t get in the way of your amazing day; I’m a fly on the wall when I need to be and a bouncing entertainer when I want those beautiful smiles at the camera. I love what I do, I’m a hopeless romantic and still get misty eyed during every wedding!

I treat every wedding as I would want my own to be treated, with gaiety and laughter but a deep respect for the significance of the day. I make sure everybody feels relaxed in my presence so that we can achieve the most natural and happy faces throughout the day. I love to document every detail, from the little smiles shared between you and your loved one, to the kids being silly on the dance floor.

My style is finding that delightful balance between candid photos that document the day unfolding, and some posed imagery, so your disk and album have a fantastic mixture, and everybody’s ecstatic.

I enjoy meeting up with you both before the big day, for I feel it’s vitally important that we both get to know each other and have a coffee and a laugh prior to us spending the day together, that way by the wedding day we are like old friends and everybody feels comfortable!

I come from an art background and choose the camera as my favourite tool, so each photo shoot I do I bring my creative vision into every frame and always strive to capture your whole day as I feel you would want it on your wall for decades to come.

I do what I do because the reaction I receive from giving my customers their photos fills me with such warmth that I cannot imagine doing anything else.
