Itsy Bitsy Chef

Children learn how to cook and what to eat. They enjoy the fruits of their work with their friends, then take home the rest of the spoils to their loved ones.

We provide children a fun and ‘hands on’ educational experience with all five senses being used in this 2 hour cooking class. Children will get to: TOUCH • SEE • SMELL • HEAR • TASTE.

Your child will feel a great sense of pride and accomplishment each week as they measure and mix a range of ingredients to create something of their very own which they can take home and share with you.

• Their fine and gross motor skills will be developed as they roll, knead, pour, mix, sprinkle, sieve, and eat!
• Basic maths concepts will be strengthened through the use of scales, measuring cups, spoons and jugs.
• Children will also be taught about nutrition and how food nourishes their growing bodies, with the distinction between ‘eat most’ and ‘eat sometimes’ foods being gently reinforced.
