Local wildlife includes Brush tail/ Ring tail possums and Tamar wallabies that can be fed from the deck, Sea lions at the jetty & penguins, Long-Nosed Bandicoot, Koalas, Echidna, Goannas and the elusive Platypus, Leafy Sea Dragons on beach, Australian Sea Lion and New Zealand Fur Seals, even the very occasional Leopard Seal, Dolphins, Whales in the winter months, beautiful blue wrens and kangaroos.

Vivonne Bay is centrally located on Kangaroo Island so all the great attractions are a short drive away. Just a 5 min walk to a fantastic beach where you can either enjoy a long walk, surf or have a go at catching some fish.

Island Dream Escape is a modern house with open plan living areas, two bedrooms that can sleep four people. It has a fully equipped kitchen, also a separate toilet and well equipped bathroom and laundry. There is a lovely large deck at the front that you can relax on with a glass of wine after your enjoyable day of sightseeing.

Vivonne Bay has some great attractions within 10 mins travel- Raptor Domain (birds of prey show-must see), Kangaroo Island Outdoor Action (quad tours, kayaks, sandboards)

You can't forget all the major tourist attractions including Seal Bay, Kelly Hill Caves, Admirals Arch, Little Sahara, Remarkable Rocks and Flinders Chase.

The rugged South Coast provides many opportunities to interact with wildlife either on conducted tours or driving and walking on your own.
