Chances are you are curious about homeopathy but don't really know what it is. You may have heard about it from your friends or read something on a website. The main thing to know is that homeopathy is not new. It has been around for about 200 years & is practiced widely in many countries around the world.

Homeopathy uses the patient's symptoms as a guide to finding the remedy that can best help the body to "fire up" it's own immune system. When you come for an appointment, we try to understand how your body is expressing itself when unwell (it's an individual thing...) So, we ask lots of questions & match the remedy to your symptoms as closely as possible.

Do you know whether you feel better out of doors or when you are inside a cosy room? Are you always thirsty, or do you have to remind yourself to drink water each day? What are you like when you are sad? Angry? What kind of headaches do you get? These are the kinds of questions you can expect.

When you are taking a homeopathic remedy, you will need to take notice of everything - not just the symptoms you came for. This means noticing changes in your mood, energy levels, & sleep patterns. When all of these things improve, we know that the body is responding well.

I do not reject medical treatments or interventions, nor do I ask you to reject them. I do explore what can be achieved before, or alongside, those interventions.
