Jordan Power and Studio 1

Jordan has worked at Studios 301 for the past 8 years where he has been Producer and Engineer working out of both the Sydney and Byron Bay locations. In recent years he has recorded with Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, U2 Powderfinger and The Living End to name a few, as well as many orchestral sessions and film soundtracks. Currently, he is working at both of these locations as well as running 'Inky' in Byron Bay. He also worked at Byron Bay’s La Casa as Studio Manager/Engineer where he recorded and mixed bands such as The Temper Trap, Ms Mr, Liam Finn, Darwin Deez and many more and mixed acclaimed film director Taylor Steele’s soundtrack for “Missing”. Studio 1 consists of a 2 large recording spaces and a big, comfortable control room, all with plenty of fresh light and air. The studio is also walking distance to a number of cafe's and minutes from Byron's town centre. Below is a list of equipment in inky's Studio 1:

Colin O'Reilly and Mezzanine Studio:

Colin has been a recording and touring artist for the last 10 years and is an APRA Music Award winning song writer. He has performed at all the major Australian festivals and has played for bands including Ash Grunwald, MT Warning, The Winnie Coopers and his own acts The Fingers Malone Ensemble and Vinnie LaDuce.
As producer/engineer he has had several songs on rotation on Triple J including high rotation for the Ash Grunwald song "Longtime" which he both produced and engineered.
He is currently performing live electronica as Vinnie LaDuce.

Colin has a less traditional setup in the upstairs studio at Inky and concentrates more on electronic production fusing quality hardware and vintage gear and instruments with modern production techniques. This studio runs on Apple's Logic Pro.
