Impulse Racing

The competition involves numerous aspects of, numerous, literacy, marketing, engineering and problem solving. A car needs to be designed to be as efficient as possible to propel down a 20 meter track in just over one second reaching speeds of 80 KP/H. A pit display needs to be constructed where the car is put onto display as well as sponsors which have been acquired to pay for the many components of the car and display. A folio needs to be presented to show the judges what processes the team has gone under to create the car as fast as possible and how the team obtained all ideas and aspects of the competition. The competition will span over two days at the royal Adelaide show on the 9th and 10th of September. The pit displays will be displayed throughout the Royal Adelaide Show but get in on those days to see the cars race down the track.
