Impact Care Services Food Co-op

The Food Co-op was formed by Impact Church and is run by volunteers of the local community wanting to make a difference and help those in need.

Food items include every day staples of bread, milk, rice, sugar, cereal, pasta, coffee and tea.

Other items that are available include recipe bases, sauces, mayonnaise, jam, crackers, baby items, cleaning products and personal hygiene items.

Fresh fruit and vegetables are free and depend on availability.

Stocks are limited and items are not always available from our suppliers as their stock continually changes.

Some items have quantity limits to keep it fair for everyone.

All we ask is for a gold coin donation on free items.

Prices start from 10c.


Impact Church Food Co-op has made a decision to not introduce "membership only" shopping like many other places.

We are dedicated to bringing our community the best possible prices on quality brand-name merchandise.

We aim to provide a wide selection of items each week for your shopping pleasure.


To enable us to achieve this, we have introduced an admin fee of $1 per family per shopping visit to cover the cost of petrol and electricity to run the Co-op.

The staff that pick up the products and man the shop are all volunteers from our community.

PLEASE NOTE:
The meaning of USE BY and BEST BEFORE dates on the products we distribute are as follows:

USE BY: A USE BY is put on products when deterioration of quality may cause health concerns.

When a product reaches its USE BY date, Impact Church Food Co-op will not distribute this.

We will not use or give out any stock after it has passed this date.

BEST BEFORE: This is more of a warning. We always check with the manufacturers who are naturally very conservative about the safety of their products. We follow their guidelines very strictly. They will only give us an extension because they are confident that the products are safe for consumption.
