HypnoBirthing-The Mongan Method

Childbirth is not something to be feared; it is a natural expression of life. HypnoBirthing founder, Marie Mongan proves that when we release fear, a fear that keeps our body tense, we will experience a gentle birth.

The HypnoBirthing program consists of 5 x 2 1/2 hour classes. During these classes you will learn how to relax your mind and let your body work. HypnoBirthing exercises include positive thinking, relaxation, visualization, breathing exercises, physical preparation and lots more!

Learn about the history of women birthing and the principles of hypnotherapy. Understand how the Fear-Tension-Pain Syndrome can influence your perception of pain. Discover how to release emotions, fears and limiting thoughts and understand powerful Laws of the Mind. Your confidence, trust and happy anticipation will in turn lead to the peaceful, fulfilling and life-affirming birth that is your right as a mother.

The majority of the classes are private (just the mother and a birthing partner, if she chooses to bring one). The price of the course includes the original Marie Mongan HypnoBirthing book, relaxation CD, numerous handouts and light refreshments.
