The space:

The house is a 2 story, large 4 bedroom property with open plan living. Features include marble tiling, ducted air conditioning, ceiling fans and a modern kitchen. It also has a large deck that is ideal for family BBQ's and relaxation with uninterupted river views. The deck has two lounges and a hammock for relaxing while you enjoy the view. A 10 seater outdoor table and chairs and a Patio Heater to keep you warm in winter months.

Guest access:

The house has a double garage, dual driveway access and fully fenced, large back yard. The house is situated above the Karuah river. Access to the river and boat ramp is a short 5 minute walk and is ideal for for swimming, water skiing, fishing and kayaking. A great little community that is safe for the children to ride their bikes with the local park only minutes away. The river has a built in pool area ( best used at high tide), and a jetty that the locals regularly jump off and a small beach area. Great for a picnic or just to visit for a quick dip. The Karuah river is great for water activities and ideal for fishing. You will need to provide your own water craft, kayaks, inflatables, boards, skies etc.

Interaction with guests:

The House is situated in a little village of Allworth and offers remoteness and a peaceful setting allowing you to escape. 15 minutes to Stroud and 30 minutes to Dungog, 20 minutes to Raymond Terrace where there is full access to shopping. Stroud also has a small supermarket and local shops. The location is also easy access with a short drive (around 45 minutes) to both Newcastle, Port Stephens and Nelsons Bay for other activities including the beach.

The neighbourhood:

The house is fully equipped however, you will need to bring your own food or easy access for shopping is at Raymond Terrace (approx 20 minutes away) including Woolworths ,Bi Lo, ALDI supermarkets and fresh grocers. Dan Murphy's and Big W is also available. Stroud also offers a small supermarket and you can also purchase alcohol.
Stroud Central Hotel offers great family Bistro and has a courtesy bus for pick up and drop off. Stroud Country Club has a Chinese restaurant.

Getting around:

Allworth is a small village and quiet community in New South Wales, Australia. It is located 200 km north of Sydney, and 61 km north of Newcastle. You require a car to get to Allworth and take the Bucketts Way turn off. Allworth is 15 minutes from Stroud a small, old-style, genuinely historic and very picturesque country town full of attractive old buildings nestled peacefully in pleasant and green Karuah Valley.

Other things to note:

The accommodation provides all linen, including bed protectors, pillow protectors, doona with covers, sheets, pillowcases, bath towels (1 per person) bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. Guest to provide their own beach towels, and any extra towels that they may require.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso Coffee machine. Hair dry is also available in each of the bathrooms.
The accommodation also has full access to a washing machine and dryer.

1 bedroom offers 2 x single beds with trundle and will sleep 4 people.
There are 3 living areas allowing for space and privacy.
A great book collection, board games, DVD collection and Wii is available for your use and to keep the children entertained. There are 4 older style push bikes with helmets available for your use as well.
