I graduated in 2000 from the British Columbia College of Equine Massage Therapy, Canada, simultaneously attending the Rudai Rise School of Reiki, and received my Reiki Masters in 2000 as well. I have been in Tasmania since 2008 where my husband, Tim, and I have 2 beautiful young children. I am a certified practitioner of the International Equine Body Workers Association (IEBWA), carry full indemnity insurance and attend annual continuing education courses.

Reiki is a Japanese form of touch healing. This helps the horse to relax, re-energise, feel revitalised and can reverse the effects of stress. This works on the horse's spiritual, mental and emotional levels, complimenting massage techniques which focus on the physical body.

In addition, the horse's environment is equally important. Nutrition, paddock environment, tack and gear fit, appropriate hoof care and rider balance is all part of the whole picture that I evaluate and take into account while treating an animal.
