Since opening in 1989, Horizon has earned a reputation as one of Melbourne's most respected and experienced production companies.

David Pulbrook is an AFI award winning Editor, having edited many successful feature films and TV Series - including Brilliant Lies, Hotel Sorrento, Ground Zero, and Homicide. More recently, David has turned to Directing - Last Dance (2012), and Bad Blood, which has a cinemas release in late 2017.

Paul Green began his career as a Cinematographer on the top rating Crawford Television series Homicide. The early 1970’s saw Paul working for the Department of Defence, where he directed documentaries and training films for the Navy. Since establishing Horizon Films with David Pulbrook, Paul has made hundreds of corporate films, videos and commercials, including many of the popular Vic Bitter (“matter of fact”) spots. As well as award winning commercials for Carlton and United Breweries, “The Clydesdale Series”, many commercials for GM Holden, Nissan, BMW and the Department of Defence.

Horizon has an experienced team of editors, producers, directors, DOP's and production managers who can take your creative project from script to screen. The edit suites feature state of the art editing and production equipment with the latest in graphic design, animation, motion graphics and cinematic visual effects capabilities.

We have the resources and creative talent as well as complete production and post production facilities, including an on-site studio to enable end-to-end production capabilities.
