Hope Valley Creative Academy Cessnock

The Academy will offer two choirs to commence in Term 3 of 2015, with an official launch and other classes and tuition offered in 2016. The two choirs will operate on Thursday afternoons during school terms, commencing on Thursday July 23rd. Cessnock Children’s Choir will be for children in Years 2-6 at school and will run from 4-5pm on Thursday afternoons at Hope Valley Church (169 Vincent St, Cessnock). Cessnock Youth Choir will be for young people in Years 7-12 at school and will also run on Thursday afternoons, but from 5-6pm. Fees for both choirs will be $100 per student per term.

Both choirs will be conducted by local music teacher Rachel Main, who has a B.Mus./B.Teach. from the University of Newcastle and over 10 years’ teaching experience in various schools in Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Singleton and Newcastle.
