THE CALL
Our Community was founded by Rev. Frank Feain in 1986 to give glory to God and to reach out to the poorest of the poor, especially street kids in friendship evangelization. Without this outreach we would have no reason to exist.
We are called to put God first in all aspects of our lives, trusting completely in His Divine Providence (Matt 6:25-28), striving to live a life of simplicity. We are called to be a Community with a special charism of love and hospitality.
We are a Community born of the Charismatic Renewal and therefore are called to move in the freedom of the Holy Spirit (Gal 5). Charismatic praise and worship must always remain a vibrant part of the prayer life of the Community.
We are challenged to take deeply the personal call to healing and holiness. We are called to live a life in deep unity with one an-other (Acts 2 & 4) - a unity beyond our humanity, united in the spirit with one mind and heart in the call and purpose of HSOF
