Hi I'm Ivy Lane and for the past 5 years I have been making (by hand) raw, natural and completely non-toxic skin care products out of food grade ingredients, specifically designed for people with sensitive skin.

And I'm now on a mission to help people like me with sensitive skin, overcome their skin problems holistically - through clean whole foods, gut healing, lifestyle changes and by using only nourishing skin care products, that actually FEED your skin.

I know the embarrassment of red raw skin rashes, and huge red pimples that seem to stand out a mile.
In fact I was once covered from head to toe with an angry, itchy, burning rash the entire time I was selling my Skin care products at a huge expo... My skin was so inflamed I didn't want to talk to anybody approaching my stall.

"Who wants to buy skin care products from someone who looked like they had scrubbed their skin with an electric sander?" I thought.

Luckily for me, because I have been HEALING my SKIN HOLISTICALLY for many years, I was able to PINPOINT THE CAUSE of my skin irritation relatively easy. I knew it wasn't my diet. I knew it wasn't chemical irritants i my environment - I identified them and eliminated them years ago. I had thought it could be the stress of being at an expo... but I don't normally react to stress that way. ... it left only a few options.

The rash turned out to be caused by a SENSITIVITY I HAD DEVELOPED to the wood shavings I had been using as decoration and packaging. Not that explaining that helped sales..

Anyway, I told this particular skin horror story to highlight the importance of addressing skin health holistically.
I believe our SKIN issues CAN BE VIEWED AS A MAP, guiding us to a DEEPER UNDERSTANDING of what is going on INSIDE US. And that more often than not, SKIN PROBLEMS are largely a result of PROBLEMS IN OUR GUT.

I believe our SKIN NEEDS TO BE nourished and FED and so too the beneficial microbes that inhabit our skin, protecting us from the threats in our environment.

And I STRONGLY BELIEVE that skin care products can and should be made out of NON-TOXIC, ETHICALLY AND SUSTAINABLY PRODUCED ingredients.
