The Australian-built replica of James Cook's HMB Endeavour was launched in Fremantle, Western Australia in December 1993. It is one of the world's most accurate maritime reproductions.
Endeavour is managed by the Australian National Maritime Museum and resides at the museum wharves in Darling Harbour, Sydney. When in port, museum visitors can board Endeavour and see how James Cook and his crew lived at sea in the 18th century.
