Historic Pagoda Ballroom

The Pagoda has always enjoyed life as a leisure, entertainment and recreation venue with a rich history, featuring a unique architecture with Chinese inspired details and form.

For almost 100 years its purposes have varied. Originally built as a tea house in 1926 it has also been a summer resort and picnic site on Como Beach, a roller skating ring, dance pavilion and grand ballroom to even accommodating soldiers during World War 11. Post-war the Pagoda was returned to a ballroom and dance pavilion and was well-known as the birth place of many-a romance!

The Pagoda has returned to operating as a restaurant and reception venue and in 2013 formed part of the Pagoda Resort & Spa, operated by the Narada Hotel group. Today the friendly service team at Pagoda intends to continue to bring smiles and enjoyment to all its many local and visiting patrons.

The Pagoda Restaurant & Bar caters for a variety of cuisines and offers an extensive International a la carte menu, open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and South Perth's finest high tea.
