Hills District Tutoring

Hills District Tutoring was started by trained teacher, Kirrilly Dabinett. Kirrilly has taught in a variety of public and private preschools and schools in Sydney before leaving full time work to care for her baby daughter. After returning to work in a couple of different tutoring centres in the Hills District Kirrilly realised the lack of provision of affordable one-on-one tutoring programs in which parents, students and tutors worked together to develop individualised tutoring programs that took into account the student’s learning style and that produced positive outcomes for students’ current and future learning.

The Hills District tutoring company prides itself on ensuring we design individualised tutoring programs that cater to the particular learning styles, interests, strengths and weaknesses of our students. We are passionate about creating positive and nurturing learning environments in which we encourage students to gain and maintain a life-long love of learning and assist students to overcome their weaknesses and further enhance their strengths.

Services Offered:

Tuition in Mathematics and English for primary school aged children from kindergarten through to year six. We are particularly passionate about teaching literacy skills to young students in K-2 and ensuring they have a strong foundation for reading, writing and spelling.

Hills District Tutoring also offer a unique school readiness program for preschoolers that covers interpersonal skills, phonics and letter awareness, foundational mathematical concepts, fine motor skills and other skills necessary to begin kindergarten with confidence. This program can be undertaken individually or in small groups.

We are now also able to offer tuition in most subject areas for high school students from year 7 to the HSC. We have a fantastic group of experienced and passionate high school teachers available to tutor in their specialist subject areas.
