Hill Valley Farm Cottages

Enjoy the fresh air and peaceful surroundings of our eco-friendly farm. Relax on the large verandah overlooking the dam and mountains beyond.

There are four, self-contained, mud-brick cottages which are well-spaced for privacy. Each cottage has two bedrooms, a bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two king single beds and a trundle bed.(5 persons max per cottage)

Blue Gum cottage is wheelchair friendly.

The cottages are eco-friendly and each has its own standalone solar energy system and a diesel backup generator. They also have their own solar hot water system, sewerage treatment system, a slow combustion wood heater and cooking is with LPG. Each cottage has its own filtered rainwater supply from a 35,000L tank.

Our larger dam has a small jetty and pontoon. The dam can be used for swimming, fishing (stocked with silver and golden perch) and kayaking. Go for a walk to our waterfall or our subtropical rainforest or enjoy birdwatching. But most of all, relax in our tranquil surroundings.

There is a communal BBQ area and shelter near the dam.


Our facilities

On the large verandah is a Weber BBQ and an outdoor setting for six. Inside there is a TV, DVD player, mini Hifi system (with ipod/iphone dock), refrigerator, gas cooktop, microwave oven, electric kettle, toaster, tea and coffee facilities, washing machine.

There is a slow combustion wood heater to keep you warm in winter and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area to keep you comfortable in summer.

Each cottage has its own undercover parking.

Linen and towels are all provided. A port-a-cot is available upon request.

The whole farm is designated as No Smoking.

Pets are not allowed.



Location and local attractions

Hill Valley Farm is located halfway between Coffs Harbour and Grafton in NSW and 12 km West of the Pacific Highway.

The village of Corindi Beach, 14km from the farm, has a post office, a general store and pub. The closest town is Woolgoolga, only 20km, for supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, clubs, pubs, doctors, dentist and churches.

The local beaches are within a 30 minute drive, Corindi Beach, Red Rock, Mullaway, Arrawarra and Woolgoolga. Super markets at Woolgoolga, Moonee Beach, Coffs Harbour and Grafton.

The Coffs Coast, Clarence Valley and surroundings are blessed with many Nature Reserves, National Parks and State Forests, such as Sherwood Nature Reserve, Bindarri National Park, Bruxner Park Flora Reserve, Moonee Beach Nature Reserve, Mutton Birth Island Nature Reserve, Wedding Bells State Forest, Conglomerate State Forest, Lower Bucca State Forest, Yuraygir National Park, Red Rock Reserve, Washpool National Park, Gibraltar National Park Nymboi-Bindery National Park, Dorigo National Park.
