Hill House Designs

All items are hand made by myself, in Clare South Australia.

I knit the chunky throw rugs on oversized custom made knitting needles. I try and source the thickest yarn to get that great chunky texture, with a focus on naturals and greys.

The fabric necklaces are a great accessory for any occasion. They are very light and easy to wear - you can almost forget you've got them on. They are great for ladies with children in their lives (Mums, Teachers and Childcare workers) because there are no small beads, or breakable clasps - and best of all they can be machine washed.

The rope baskets are made from cotton rope, that are hand woven into all different sizes. These are a fabulous and stylish organiser- I keep the remotes in one and they've never had a better home.

The name Hill House - comes from my daughter who called our home 'The Hill House' because built a new house on a hill and since a lot of the inspiration for these items have come from decorating my own home I thought it suited.
