Highland Crystals

Born in 2016, Highland Crystals is the creation of husband and wife team Ashley and Kate.

With a strong shared interest for crystals, rocks, and minerals, starting a crystal based business together was a very organic, and obvious decision.

Kate's love for crystals stemmed from her childhood, and has been a lasting and every present passion in her life. This passion was passed onto Ashley when the pair moved to their 40 acre property in the hills of Prenzlau Qld, and started digging, tumbling, and polishing their own rock finds on the property.

Kate's creative, artistic nature also comes into play, with finding joy in creating original crystal watercolour paintings and handmade crystal jewellery. Kate has also taken her passion to a higher level, recently completing a Esoteric Crystal and Gem Healing course, and is now a certified Crystal Healing Practitioner.

Kate's love and knowledge of crystals and crystal healing, together with Ashley's eye for detail, makes Highland Crystals a truly exclusive and stand out business in the crystal world.

In order to use your crystals to their full potential, we recommend that you cleanse, program, and charge your pieces regularly.

Crystals adsorb the energies from people, places, and vibes around them. So upon receiving a new piece, it is always a good idea to cleanse the crystal of past energies, starting fresh with your new crystal.

Crystals can also be dedicated to the purpose in which you want to use it. This is referred to as 'programming'. This means telling the crystal what your intention for it is, so it can help you in the way in which you would like it to.

Cleansing:

There are many methods that can be used to cleanse your crystals, from salt water baths, sea salt burying, magnetic cleansing, smudging, burying in the earth (re-earthing), sunbathing, visualization ect, or you can buy man made cleansers and charging plates.

Programming:

In order have your crystal help you as much as it can, it is recommended to program it. To do this, dedicate a quiet moment to being with your crystal. Hold your crystal in your hands until you can feel it responding to you. You will know it is responding when you can feel it warm up within your hands. Some people even feel a slight 'tingling' sensation. Once the crystal is warming, and you are ready, you can start the process.

Firstly, ask the crystal to remove all negative energies within it. I say a short phrase, usually along the lines of "Please remove all negative energies and influences from within yourself". I inhale deeply, and as I exhale, I visualize the negative energies being drawn out of the crystal, and floating away.

Once negative energies have been removed, I program. This is where you will tell your crystal it's exact purpose. Be specific. Again, hold your crystal until you feel it responding to you. State your intention for it. For example "Thank you for bringing wealth to my business" or "Thank you for bringing love into my life", or "Thank you for keeping me safe during my travels" ect. Once you have stated your intention, hold your crystal and visualize it working for you. Spend as much time with your crystal as you feel you need. Once you have programmed it, keep it close to you, or where you can see it frequently.

Recharging:

When our crystals have been working hard to draw the negative energies out of us and protecting us, they become 'full' and stat to overflow, in turn, making us feel unpleasant. This is when they need to be recharged. You can do this by placing your crystals in moon light and sun light, or by placing them on a 'homing' crystal cluster (which is a clean, clear crystal that always has access to sun and moonlight). You can also charge your crystals on organite discs.
