HeliSpirit is a helicopter charter company based in the Kimberley region of far north Western Australia. The Kimberley is rugged, remote and famous for awe inspiring scenery – amazing mountain ranges, deep gorges, huge rivers, pristine beaches and breath taking coastlines.
Our head office is in Kununurra – the gateway to the East Kimberley, a tropical town with around 7000 residents. HeliSpirit offers a variety of scenic helicopter adventures from bases at; Warmun, Mitchell River National Park, Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungle), El Questro, Kununurra, Lake Argyle, Katherine Gorge and Karratha.
The multi-award winning HeliSpirit is the specialist when it comes to discovering Australia’s north by air. Our spectacular helicopter flights show you the best Northern Australia has to offer. We hold Eco Tourism Certification as a Green Travel leader. We concentrate on tours that take you to some of the most beautiful and inaccessible areas in the world.
Our mission capabilities include; passenger charter, search and rescue, aerial geophysical work, photography, scenic flights and tailor made itineraries. Our philosophy is based on the twin principles of safety and service – being areas where we will not compromise.
Formerly Heliwork WA, HeliSpirit has been in operation since 1984, founded by Kerry Slingsby and is now owned by HM aircraft holdings, a Kununurra based privately owned company.
