What is HeLiPAd?

HeLiPAd is a not-for-profit education program designed to increase health literacy in adolescents. Backed by highly trained, medical experts Helipad is designed to arm your community’s youth with enough knowledge to help deter them from risky behaviour. HeLiPAd’s vision is simple; prevention is much better than intervention.

We encourage youth, parents and members of the local community to engage with our website and social media content. If you know someone who could benefit from any of our HeLiPAd resources, please share, as prevention is possible when adolescents have the necessary information to make an informed decision.

We recommend that all youth share what they’ve learned from the HeLiPAd project on social media for the opportunity to win monthly giveaways.

How will it help the community?

HeLiPAd will help the local community by giving adolescents access to valuable information and resources via our digital and social media channels. We will deliver this information through workshops in local schools and via our social media marketing.

HeLiPAd will benefit the development of youth in your community by giving students education on drugs, alcohol, mental health and sexual health. HeLiPAd workshops will be run by medical experts, who will give youth valuable health insights and discuss harm minimization by breaking down the barriers for students to seek help.
