I’ve been working as a physiotherapist in Ballarat and surrounding districts for over eleven years. I grew up in Ballarat and like many 17 year olds headed to Melbourne for study with the intention of “never coming back to cold Ballarat”! After studying and working in Melbourne for eight years I moved back home and now love all the wonderful things that Ballarat has to offer that my 17 years old eyes couldn’t see, including our fabulous health services. You can find me in Ballarat at MC Physio in the Aquatic Centre and their Eyre Street rooms.
I love physiotherapy.
Mainly because of the people it brings me in contact with. I like to think that I can make a difference in peoples lives by improving their health, decreasing their pain, and rehabilitating people after injury and disease so they can return to their lives in tip top shape.
I think I listen. To me this is one of the most important parts of my job, as it allows me to understand exactly what the patient is suffering from. It enables me to devise a treatment plan that suits my patients lifestyle so ensuring a speedy, yet safe recovery.
