Heart of Australia is a rural health program that embodies the most innovative approach to frontline specialist medical service delivery in generations.

Heart of Australia will deliver fortnightly specialist medical investigation and treatment clinics to rural and remote communities across Queensland, starting in the southwest.

Our first customized road train – a specialist medical clinic-on-wheels – will travel more than 72,000km in its first year on the road, covering an area of more than 450,000 square kilometres.

Heart of Australia will break the grip of distance that denies rural and remote-area Australians access to services when and where they are needed most.
