Heart For Kids

We began around 2003 as ChinaHeart International taking teams to orphanages in China. That grew to include helping children living very poor rural families to stay in school and gain the best education possible in their circumstances.

We then began helping local organisations in their goal to serve children with special needs, children with physical or intellectual challenges.

Short term teams increased to between 3 and 5 per year and we also had other volunteers come and train or help our staff.

In 2016 we changed our name to Heart For Kids as we were now serving in China, India and Indonesia. We serve an orphanage of over 100 children in India and help a local organisation in Indonesia mentor and educate young adults from very poor areas i in Indonesia.
