Healthfit offers a range of exercise physiology services for people from the very unfit person, those with chronic conditions, seriously injured workers through to the elite athlete.

Our programs are scientifically-based and provide safe progression to the ultimate phase of self-management. Programs are individually designed according to needs, goals and preferred environment such as home, our clinic/exercise centre, gym, pool, outdoor or onsite at work. The benefit of our exercise centre is that people exercise in small numbers on modern equipment under our supervision. Our clients are supported with information, organisational strategies, equipment and ongoing motivation.

• Evaluation of current physical condition, appraisal of activity needs
• Personalised exercise and activity programs supported by a comprehensive manual or education
• Strategies for organisation, time management and ongoing motivation
• Progression through 3 phases: initial easing; challenging; maintenance for easy self-management
• Various levels of involvement and investment
• Special fee rates for Pensioners

Available under the Enhanced Primary Care Scheme on referral from GPs
* Patients with chronic and complex care needs receive active treatment and education. They can do the exercise programs at home, commercial gym, pools or in the Healthfit Centre in Milton, NSW.
* Rural Primary Health Services referrals for Type 2 Diabetes
Veterans (DVA)
Available on referral from GPs
Centre and home-based programs are designed with a cognitive behavioural approach to increasing function and wellbeing. They may have individual and group sessions.
