Hayleys k9 Ed & Training is aimed at dog owners who want to understand their dogs. Why they do what they do & what they're really trying to convey to us humans. I'm a qualified Dog Obedience Trainer but am currently studying Dog Psychology. My aim is to educate people on the best dog for their lifestyle & how to fulfil your dogs primal needs, eradicating any unwanted behaviours. I believe in strong pack leadership & one strict recipe - Exercise, Discipline, Affection - IN THAT ORDER. Many people here the word Discipline & automatically think 'Punishment', That's not the case here, I'm referring to structure & mental stimulation. Dogs are inbuilt to work even for food & water, making your dog sit & wait for dinner is Discipline. This simple recipe will ensure your dogs trust, loyalty, respect & socially acceptable behaviour. I can show you the correct way to gain your dogs respect without harsh training methods. I like to use positive reinforcements & set boundaries to ensure your dog understands his place in the pack & learns to behave at home as well as socially. Hayley can come to your home for one on one know how & basics but will be also be holding classes at Headquarters ( my home ) where children are more than welcome. I believe its important to educate our little ones on the correct way to approach a dog, treat a dog & care for a dog. Classes will include the Basics- walking, commands 'how to'.
