Hahndorf Community Garden

An educational, community garden is about to be established behind the Seasonal Garden Café, 100 Mt Barker Rd, Hahndorf, South Australia.

Our aim is for it to be an inspirational education garden that connects the community through

- Community gardening classes
- Vegetable garden plots
- Gardening workshops and working bees
- Outdoor garden classroom
- Nature play space
- Bocce field
- Community & private event space

Open to the public during café hours, everyone is welcome and we encourage you to enjoy the ambience of the garden…once it is up and running!

The produce will be utilized by community gardeners following an 8 week term of Wed & Sat morning classes.

A series of workshops, working bees and community projects will be held on site to develop the garden’s features such as a wood pizza oven, herb garden, outdoor library & chook run.

We seek sponsorship for each garden plot from community groups, organisations or individuals and would love to hear from anyone who is interested in helping with donations, working-bees or workshops.

The garden plots will be built in time for classes to begin in Spring 2016.
