Greyhounds As Pets

Greyhounds make fantastic pets for families, working people and the elderly.

Greyhounds are: Gentle, Affectionate, Clean, Quiet, Good with other dogs (some also love cats), LOW maintenance and Long lived.

And they aren't: Aggressive, Bouncy or prone to getting under foot.

They will walk well on a lead and require only 15-20 minutes exercise 1-2 times daily (just like a normal pooch). They don't need a big yard (or a yard at all).

They rarely shed and have a short coat.
