Green Apple Speech and Feeding Clinic

Green Apple Speech and Feeding Clinic (GASFC) is a Speech Pathology practice located in Narangba, on Brisbane’s northside.

GASFC opened in October 2014 by owner and Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), Sarah Day.

GASFC offers a broad range of Speech Pathology services to children and their families who reside in the northern suburbs of Brisbane and lower Sunshine Coast areas.

GASFC takes referrals directly from parents as well as from other professionals including teachers or Paediatricians, where consent has been obtained from the family prior to referral.

GASFC supports infants through to school-aged children who require assessment and/or therapy for speech and language delays and disorders, or swallowing / feeding concerns.

GASFC supports children with significant disabilities listed under the Better Start and Helping Children with Autism funding initiatives through the Australian Government Department of Social Services.

GASFC SLPs are also registered providers through Medicare, allowing families to claim through their Private Health funds when accessing services.

Families that are eligible to access a Medicare subsidy for allied health services via the Chronic Disease Management Plan can do this through GASFC.

GASFC offers services from its Narangba clinic as well as a mobile service with a small additional cost.

An SLP will visit your home or another venue of your choosing to conduct assessment and/or intervention.

Providing therapy in your home is convenient for your family’s routine and also supports your child to learn in their natural environment.

Some children adapt well to new environments, however, others need more time to adjust and this can often impact on the successfulness of therapy when conducted in the clinic.

GASCF SLPs are well trained and have extensive experience working with babies and young children with both communication and feeding disorders.

The Clinic has a strong commitment to providing holistic interventions to children and their families.

Our SLPs place significant importance on linking with other professionals involved in supporting your child’s development.
