The Granville Youth and Community Recreation Centre opened in March 2003, offering a variety of programs for the local community including programs and activities for youth, and a space for hire for functions and meetings.
The Centre’s mission is to be a central meeting point for all community activities in the area, and to provide a supportive environment that enhances the social, emotional and cultural development of young people and the general community. The centre offers a variety of services for youth and community members throughout the year.
Facilities for hire:
The centre includes the following facilities:
A main hall with a maximum capacity of 300
One meeting room with a maximum capacity of 30 and another with a maximum capacity of 50
A youth lounge with a maximum capacity of 80
A computer room with a maximum capacity of 10
A band space with a maximum capacity of five
There is also access to full commercial kitchen during weekdays only.
