Granite Ridge Welsh Black Cattle Stud started in 1997 with the purchase of four females and which today, is one of the oldest and biggest Welsh Black herds in Australia. It is situated at Benambra, in the hills of North East Victoria.

Today Granite Ridge produces “Paddock to Plate” Welsh Black Beef, for both the food industry and for home consumption, as well as selling live animals for the beef cattle industry.
