Graebers Old Garage at Lobethal-SA

An original 1920s motor garage in the main street of Lobethal in the Adelaide Hills region of South Australia. It was once on the Lobethal Grand Prix circuit which ran around Lobethal township on public roads in the late 1930s. The original building dates back to the later 1800s when it started as a blacksmith shop. The original rough tree trunks used as posts still hold up the roof. The Graebers are a long established family in the town operating the garage, car dealership and local bus company.
