Equine assisted therapy is facilitating the interaction between horses and clients for mental and behavioral health therapy and personal development.

Equine assisted therapy (E.A.T) is a way to experience change in a hands-on way by challenging people to look at themselves and the world in a new way. People who have struggled to make progress or achieve their treatment and or personal life goals have made significant breakthroughs with the aid of equine therapy.

Research has confirmed the effectiveness of equine therapy, showing that it lowers blood pressure and heart rate, alleviates stress, and reduces symptoms of anxiety and depression. Equine therapy also helps people struggling with addictions and mental health disorders develop the following skills for healthy living.

Clients don't have to enjoy working with animals or horses to benefit from this therapy, they simply need to be willing to give it a chance.

There is rarely any riding involved, most of the sessions are working with the horse on the ground at the client's pace.
