GPE Electrical and Communications Contractor (previously known as Gerard Percy Electrics) was formed in Albury on the 1st July 1988. GPE then opened a Office in Wagga in 2001.
Since starting the electrical contracting business we have progressed from a sole trader to a family owned company which employs over 18 staff.
GPE attained Third Party Quality Assurance Accreditation in September 1999 and has developed the business with Quality and Performance as our major objectives.
GPE is able to perform all types of electrical projects from large major projects down to the smallest of installations and all types of maintenance work.

- Complete rewire - Albury Performing Arts Centre
- Rewire and upgrade - Newmarket Hotel Albury
- Electrical installation - new Army Physical Fitness Centre including fire and communication systems
- Wiring - Blazing Stump Hotel Wodonga
- Refurbishment - Main Office AMP Albury
- Electrical installation - Riverwood Retirement Village & Hostel including fire system & communications
- Refurbishment - Albury City Council Chambers involving 3 floors of the 4 storey building
- Major extensions and Refurbishment Zodiac Lounge at the Commercial Club Albury. This Project was a 1996 winner of the NSW NECA State and NECA National Excellence Award
- Installation of Category 5 Cabling - Department of Housing Albury
- Rewire - local Radio Station offices and studios
- Extensions and Refurbishment - Tallangatta Hospital
- The Albury Hotel - Ground floor renovations and new Paddies Bar
- Major extension and refurbishment of Holbrook District Hospital
- Design and Construction of Home Base Bulky Goods Centre in Wagga Wagga
-Comprising of two bulk goods store’s, car park and external lighting,
with major tenants being Harvey Norman and Bunning’s
- Science Block at The Scots School Albury. This Project was a 2004 winner of the NSW NECA State and NECA National Excellence Award
- Xavier High School New Arts Centre and Library
- Design and Construct SS & A Club Oasis Outdoor area, Water feature and memorial pool. This Project was a 2006 winner of the NSW NECA State and a National Finalist in the NECA National Excellence Award’s
- Charles Sturt University Veterinary Sciences Equine Facility Wagga
- Charles Sturt University Graham Building Refurbishment
- Albury City Council Fibre Optic Cabling and installation – Administration office to Botanical Gardens and Engineering Office.
