Understanding the vast amount of plastics in our oceans had been increasing, Got Wood was created in 2014 in order to discreetly change the way the majority viewed ‘greenie products.‘ Simply by swapping your single use plastic toothbrush for a bamboo toothbrush, we encourage all to help keep plastics out of our waterways, oceans and food chain.

The average person uses 4-6 toothbrushes per year, with each plastic toothbrush taking up to 1000 years to break down. That’s an absurd amount of plastic waste sitting amongst Mother Nature.

Got Wood prides it self in being 99% environmental friendly. Our toothbrushes are made from Mao bamboo whilst our bristles are made from nylon (the missing 1%). We are continuously working closely with our manufacturer to produce a plant based bristle that is just as sturdy and reliable as our current bristles. We use non-toxic and raw recyclable materials (cardstock, postage goods, labels, etc.) and print in soy and vegetable inks, because it’s better for the environment. Our packaging does not include any form of plastic, be it biodegradable or not.

The Got Wood team hot stamp each toothbrush in house, in Melbourne, Australia whilst too supporting and working with local companies on a frequent basis and are 100% fair trade.

We create new designs for our toothbrushes annually ensuring our consumers have the option to differentiate their toothbrush from others’.

Got Wood cares for its environment and the humans in it. Therefore, we like to do our bit to help out where possible.
