Gormandale & District Primary School

Gormandale and District Primary School is a small country school located between Traralgon and Yarram. Our school focuses on making your child’s primary schooling experience an incredibly positive one.
It is my pleasure to be the principal of Gormandale and District Primary School. The students are such positive, enthusiastic young people. Working with such students makes coming to work very easy.
Our current enrolments are 52. This is the first time in 10 years that our numbers have been in the 50s.
The classroom structure for 2013 is:
Grade Prep/1
Grade 2/3
Grade 4/5/6
In addition to the classroom programs we also have:
MARC (Mobile Area Resource Centre) Library. The MARC Library visits each Monday. The MARC Van contains books the students can borrow; along with a dedicated library teacher who teaches an hour library session with each of the classes.
ART – we are very fortunate to have a local artist prepared to work with the students teaching art each week. It is wonderful having someone who loves art – teaching art. The students are able to experience art from the eyes of an artist.
Gormandale and District Primary School is a wonderful school, which we all love being a part of.
