Goong Korean BBQ Restaurant

Our story began with a simple idea to share a taste of Korean in Australia. The culture behind Goong Korean BBQ was inspired by the combination of different Asian traditions. We aim to share what we have learnt and present it in such a way that our customers get to experience the culture through their palates.

Goong (Hangul 궁) means “Palace” in Korean. The word itself has been adapted into different cultures such as Chinese (宫) and Japanese. Being exposed to multi-cultural elements and wanting to bring the best to the city of Perth, our team established Goong Korean BBQ.

Every Korean dish served can be traced back to the country of origin. Through time and research, we are able to put together a menu that not only serves authentic Korean food, but also one that gathers the best of each culture and translate them into what you see; providing you with an explosion of different taste that blends well together.

Our core value is to deliver the best quality food to all our customers in a “Palace” we have established in Perth. A Palace where you find a sense of belonging, allowing us to take you on a Korean food adventure.
