Welcome to the Golden Mile Loopline Railway Society (GMLRS), did you know that you are about to enter a living piece of history, the Boulder Station was once the busiest station in Western Australia.
More than 100 carriages a day pulled through the Boulder Station, carrying miners and mining freight to the Goldfields, in 1903 started the first electric trams and in 1916 more traffic ran daily from Kalgoorlie to Boulder than from Perth to Fremantle.
Here at the GMLRS we are dedicated to restoring our heritage trains and tracks, flick through the pages to find out more on what is happening here at the Boulder Station, we have so much going on….
