Golden Gate Stud was created in 2008 when Sarah Kiryk purchased her first stallion - Imperial Gold Touch, affectionately known as "Scotchie". A stunning golden Palomino Quarter Horse who had proven himself in the show ring as a youngster in NSW. Who since then had retired to stud duties standing in South Australia for over ten years.
He has produced many champions upon champions, most famously known - DAYS OF GOLD and NIGHTS OF GOLD, currently standing at stud in NSW. He continues to stamp this quality on all foals.

We aim to produce 2-4 stunning foals each year. Producing pure Quarter Horses for the enthusiast.
Crossing fine, elegant hand selected Thoroughbred mares to Scotchie, producing leggy, athletic hack/hunter types.
At times Warmblood and Thoroughbred mares will be put to outside stallions, mainly Warmblood Stallions to produce dressage and hacking horses.

We are passionate about raising our foals and believe in doing all we can to expose them to the world and things they will no doubt encounter in their futures. We want to offer people well adjusted foals that know SOFTNESS, LOVE and RESPECT.
All foals are taught in their first weeks of life about every day activities, such as touch, halters, plastic bags, picking up feet, kids, dogs, vehicles etc. We use patience and love all the way, never force of strength over these precious vulnerable foals. Psychology and behaviour is studied and respected when introducing the halter and teaching foals about pressure and release. Always being as gentle as can be.

The "blank canvas" is a new born foal, we start here, setting them up to be little geniuses, a valuable life skill for any horse.

We want to help others dreams come true by breeding your 'perfect' foal, starting with breed, color and temperament. Deposits can be taken for foals and payment plans to weaning available.
