Goatshed Studios

Goatshed Studios was created to cater for bands and musicians in the Wheatbelt sector of Western Australia. Goatsheds first project was an album recorded at Goomalling Bakery Studio by Adam Harris for Northam based blues /country rock band Wavelength. The album called Sidestreet Cafe was an all original debut for this band featuring examples of the members diverse background. Songs ranged from almost punk based rock through a Dylan reminiscent ballad to some deep dark blues, written by Gof, followed by some heartfelt bouncy country rock and blues offered by guitarist and writer Andre Alexander, A real punk rock tongue in cheek finish to this album which some will love and others will wonder what the hell happened.

Goatshed Studios next project was The Bonekickers EP. A refreshing new band, from the Perth Hills area of Western Australia, consisting of Marie Young (guitar, vocal, song writer) and Lachlan Lyon (bass, harmonica, vocal and song writer) with the recent addition of Paul Archibald (drums and percussion), with a blues/rock feel reminiscient of the Stones and others. This original EP became available online May 2011 from iTunes and Amazon MP3 and is available in hard copy from Goatshed Studios (goatshedstudios@iinet.net.au).
Gof Yerfdog released his album Diary of a Drug Feind (tongue in cheek) with the help of Goatshed Studios. This album is a great dirty rock 'n' roll/blues album.
Gof's Second album is in work at the moment, (I am busy on the drum tracks), and will be an example of his works over the years.

The studio has now expanded to include Jackie's jewellery making talent and will display soon some of her works from the Steampunk Genre - these items will be available for purchase online.
