GOA (Grain Orana Alliance)

GOA is run by a board which includes both local farmers, farming consultants who include Andrew McFadyen, Mark McKay, Ian Elliott, Briel Jackson, Joe Mason and Tony Single along with our GRDC northern Panel representative Penny Heuston.

GOA is also made up of CEO is Maurie Street, Senior Technical Officer is Scott Boyd, Research and Extension Manager is Ben OBrien and Agronomist Julie Monroe.

GOA conduct research which farmers and consultants deem relevant for our local area.

The GOA has a large area to cover with current trials in Peak Hill, Wellington, Nyngan, Coonamble, Warren, Narromine, Coolah and Curban to name a few.

We are always happy to hear feedback from farmers and consultants on areas that they feel needs further research. If the issue is too large for GOA to address then it is forwarded onto the Grains Research and Development Corporation.
